Tajmahal is the greatest monument on the earth. A token of love. This is unique creature of Sahjahan, the Mughal emperor. He built up in memory of his late wife, Begum Mumtaj. 20,000 workers built up this structure of white marble for 22 years (1632-54 A.D.). Cost to build the Taj was 4 million pound at that time. Ustad Isha, from parsia, built up the great Tajmahal. Titanus did the architectural designing.

In a full moonlit night the Taj shows pleasant calmness of the white. As the moon moves to the west, it may seem that in the land of Fairy Tale the Taj is being sailed on the River Jamuna. At dawn rosy glow reflects a charming fulfilling sensation. It turns gradually into milky silvery. This time the Taj changes its colour at every moment. It is best seen from the guest pavilion. The Taj gets golden gloss before the sun set. It is best seen from West Masjid. Setting Sun cast a gloomy impression on the Tajmahal. Someone may feel the love of Sahjahan in a sad note. Watching the Taj is a totally different experience in the Monsoon. The clouds and the Sun play with shadow and ray on the Tajmahal.

The subtle art inside the Taj mahal impresses the whole world. The designs are so fine and accurate even on the marble rock that lighting on one side may put exact shadow of the design on the opposite wall.

King Shahjahan
UNESCO considers Agra as World Heritage Site. In 1475 A.D., King Badal Singh was the founder of Agra. Later Akbar, the Mughal emperor, developed the place. In 1956 A.D., Akbar built up a Fort here on the bank of river Jamuna, which is known as Agra Fort. Persian and Urdu Poet Mirza Galib were born here.
