State Highways connect Mysore to the national
Highways and to all other parts of the country.
Bus services by Karnataka Road Transport
Corporation and other transport corporations of
the neighboring states as well as private tour
operators make it easy to reach the city without
any difficulty. It takes only 3 hours to travel
from Bangalore to Hadrwar.
By
Rail : There are many train services
operating between Bangalore and Mysore. The
Shatabdi Express connects Mysore to Chennai. The
ideal route to reach Mysore is via Bangalore.
By Air :
The nearest airport is Bangalore that is a mere
140km away. All domestic airlines are operating
flights to and from Bangalore to all major cities
of the country. A few international flights to the
Middle East are also operated from Bangalore.

Maurya hotels spread over the state.
Bookings could be made from their offices in
Bangalore or on locations.
K.S.R.T.C.
has well organised city, state and
inter-state bus services. Several private
travel services those run by tour
operators/travel agents are also available.
Chauffeur driven private cars and taxis for
long distance travel are available in Mysore,
operated by KSTDC and private operators.
KSTDC
conducts two tours from Mysore every day.
Both tours cover Mysore and Surroundigs. One
tour covers the destinations in one day
while the other tour covers them in three
