Goa is accessible by road, rail and air from every major /important city and most of the states of India.

We recommend to Travel from Mumbai (previously Bombay). One can travel by rail, by road, by water or by air from Mumbai. Capital of Goa, Panaji, is 594 k.m. away from Mumbai. Calcutta and Delhi is 2400 k.m. and 1904 k.m. away from Panaji.

By Road : Goa, Maharashtra, and Karnataka state transport corporations operate from the Kadamba bus stand at Panaji.

By Rail : Goa is connected with Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Secunderabad, Tirupati via Londa junction on the Mirage-Bangalore sector of south central railway. It is connected to Mumbai and Mangalore on the Konkan Railway Corporation section. Expedient stations are Margao/Vasco and Karmali.

It is not difficult to reach Goa by trains, especially after opening of the Konakan Railway that connects Margao and Vasco da Gama to major cities in India.

By Water : Frank Shipping operates a boat service between Mumbai and Panaji.

By Air : Goa is connected by Indian Airlines & Alliance Air from Mumbai, Bangalore, Cochin, Delhi and Agatti (Lakshadweep).

Dabolim is the main entry point for Goa situated at a distance of around 29 km from Panaji on the coast near Vasco da Gama. Most domestic airlines operate in Goa apart from chartered private airlines operating from UK and Germany.
