Ingredients:
1 lb ground sirloin beef.
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
4-6 tbs fish sauce
1/4 tsp dried galangal powder
6 shallots, peeled and thinly sliced crosswise
2 tbs ground roasted sticky rice powder
2 tbs chopped scallion
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 tbs ground dried red chili pepper
15 mint leaves.
Method:
Slice Fresh Thai chilies, thin crosswise. Chop beef fine, if necessary. Combine
both with lime juice, fish sauce, galangal powder and shallots.
Cook meat on a flat pan until it becomes brown. Cool it
down. Add the sticky rice powder, scallion, cilantro, dried red
chili powder. Mix to combine well. Spoon onto a serving platter and garnish with mint leaves and Thai
chilies. Serve with raw vegetables, such as long beans, basil leaves, spinach, etc.
