Ingredients:
Toor Dal 1 Cup Cooked
Tamarind lemon size soaked in water
salt Acc to taste
pearl/small Onions
1/4 kgs skin removed
Dhania seeds 2 tsp
Channa dal 1 tsp
Red Chilies 4 Nos or Acc to taste
Coconut 1 tbsp, Oil 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Red chilies optional 1 No
Urad dal 1 tsp
Curry Leaves few.
Direction:
Soak the tamarind in water & squeeze the juice. In a
pan with a tsp of oil fry dhania, red chilies, channa
dal. Grind it with coconut to a smooth paste. In the
same pan with the remaining oil fry the onions for a
minute. Add the tamarind Juice, salt & let it boil
till the raw smell diminishes. Add the ground paste
& Toor Dal to the tamarind mixture & let it cook
for few minutes. Do the seasoning & adjust the salt.
