Ingredients:
1 cup Channa Dhal - (Besan) flour - sieved;
1 cup Rice flour - sieved;
Chilly Powder 1 Tbspn;
1 level teaspoon Asafetida;
Salt to taste, Water for mixing;
2 tbspns. Ghee or Dalda.
Oil for Deep frying.
Method:
Mix all the above ingredients to form a smooth dough.
Take the Murukku Press; place the Kaipokadam Disc into
it; grease the inside of the press & place a ball
full of the prepared dough into it and press over hot
oil that is on the flame fry till brown on both sides
remove from oil, place on kitchen tissue, &
serve.
