Ingredients:
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 eggs
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. nuts, broken
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (4 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 stick oleo
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Direction:
Beat eggs and sugar together.
Add vanilla and pineapple. Add dry ingredients keeping some to
dredge the nuts to add last. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40
minutes in a 13 x 9 inch pan, greased and floured. Mix
softened oleo and cream cheese. Add confectioners' sugar and
vanilla. Spread on cake. Clearwater, Florida
