Ingredients:
9 slices thick bacon, diced
1 med. onion, diced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of potato soup
1 c. uncooked wild rice
2 pts. half and half
1 c. grated American cheese
Direction:
Cook wild rice until tender. Fry
bacon until crispy; add onion and cook until tender. Drain
excess grease. Combine cooked rice, bacon, onion, soups, and
half and half; simmer until thick. Just before serving, add
grated cheese and stir until melted. Garnish with croutons, if
desired.
