Ingredients:
4 slices bread
1 c. milk
1-2 tbsp. maple syrup
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Pinch salt
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
Margarine or butter
Maple syrup
Direction:
In an 8 inch wide bowl combine
milk, syrup (1-2 tablespoons), cinnamon and salt. Stir with a
fork. Brush a nonstick skillet or griddle, with the oil and
heat on medium setting. Dip bread one slice at a time into the
milk mixture (quickly on each side). Brown the bread slices
until slightly crusty. Turn and brown other side. Serve with
margarine and syrup.
