Ingredients:
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
1/2 c. margarine
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. pecans, broken up
1 box German chocolate cake mix,
prepared according to pkg.
Direction:
Melt caramels in your microwave
according to manufacturer's directions. Add margarine and
evaporated milk. Pour 1/2 of cake batter in a greased and
floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15
minutes. Pour caramel mixture over baked cake, sprinkle with
chocolate chips and broken pecans. Pour remaining batter over
all and bake for an additional 25 - 35 minutes or until cake
tests done.
