Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. fat
8 c. water
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 c. carrots chopped
1/2 c. celery chopped
1/2 c. onions, chopped
1/2 c. potatoes, cut up
1/2 c. cabbage (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Direction:
Brown meat in fat, add water and
soup mix. Cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat and cook 30
minutes. Add remaining ingredients, increase heat until soup
comes to a boil. Turn to low and cook 1/2 hour or until
vegetables are done.
