Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. cake flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 lg. or 5 sm. eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
9 tbsp. hot water
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Direction:
Beat eggs until yellowed color;
add sugar and beat a while. Add vanilla. Sift baking powder,
flour and salt together; add to egg mixture. Beat well, then
add hot water and beat awhile again. Bake in a hot oven until
light brown at 350-400 degrees.
