Ingredients:
5 lbs. peeled figs
3 lbs. sugar
Direction:
Use just enough water to wet
sugar. Let come to a good boil. Add figs to syrup and cook
until figs are pink. Let syrup boil down until thick. Place in
jars and seal. This is an old recipe that my mother used and
makes delicious preserves.
