1 c. sugar & 1/4 c. liquid used in recipe.

1 c. whole milk

1/2 c. evaporated milk & 1/2 c. water.

1 c. of buttermilk

1 tbsp. vinegar & 1 c. of milk.

1 c. sour cream

7/8 c. of buttermilk or sour milk & 3 tbsp. butter.

1 c. of brown sugar

1 c. granulated sugar & 2 tbsp. molasses.
