Ingredients:
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 c. salt
1 c. water
1 tbsp. cream of tartar Food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla (opt.)
Direction:
Mix the dry ingredients together
in a saucepan. Mix oil and water, then pour slowly into dry
ingredients. Cook over very low heat until the mixture is
thick (like mashed potatoes). This happens very quickly. Stir
in vanilla. Remove from heat and turn the mixture onto a board
or table. When cool enough to handle, knead coloring in until
smooth. Store in an air tight container.
