Ingredients:
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
2/3 c. Crisco
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
Red and green pineapple
Cherries (1/2 lb. red & green)
Dates
Nuts
6 slices pineapple
Raisins
Direction:
Mix together sugar, spices, Crisco, salt, and water. Boil for
5 minutes and let cool. Then stir in 4 cups flour and 1
teaspoon baking soda. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.
