Ingredients:

 

4 c. beet juice
1 pkg. pectin
1/2 c. lemon juice
      

Direction:

 

In large pan put beet juice, pectin and lemon juice. Bring to a rolling boil. Add 6 cups sugar. Boil 3 minutes. Put in jars. Seal. Wash beets real good. Put a goodly amount of water on beets to cook. When beets are done, measure out 4 cups juice to use for jellie. We may live without friends. We may live without books. But civilized man cannot live without cooks.
