Ingredients:
1/4 c. butter or
margarine
1 egg
1/4 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 c. apples, chopped
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Direction:
Mix all together. Put into
8 x 10 or 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees until done,
about 45 minutes. My husband's grandmother gave me this recipe
when we were married 40 years ago. The original recipe called
for butter the size of an egg. You may double this for a 9 x
13 inch pan. Needs no frosting.
