Diane Keaton completed her study from Drama at Santa Ana College.
After appearing in summer stock for several months, she appear in the Broadway rock musical "Hair". In
the year of 1970, she play in "Play It Again, Sam". During this time she became involved with Woody
Allen and thereafter she appeared in a number of hit films. That same year she
acted the Oscar winning movie "Godfather".
After two relative flops movies, "Harry and Walter Go To New York" and
"I Will, I Will for Now", she appeared in "The Primary English
Class" on the New York stage.
Then she made two more Allen films, "Interiors" in 1978 and "Manhattan".
Keaton co-starred with Warren Beatty in 1981 "Reds". After her success
in "Crimes of the Heart", she directed her first film "Heaven".
In 1990, she directed music videos, an episode of "Twin Peaks" and the film
"Unstrung Heroes".
