| AT A GLANCE |
Daryl Hannah attend the University of Southern California (USC). Daryl Hannah trained for the
dance before switching to acting at the Goodman Theatre.
She made her first appearance in the Brian De Palma film "The Fury." She
acted in several films such as Ron Howard's "Splash" and Herbert Ross' "Steel Magnolias." She won the Jury Award from the Berlin International Film Festival for Best Short in
the year of 1994 for her best film "The Last Supper, " which she directed, wrote, and produced.
As the millennium turned Hannah was still fixed in a sort of celluloid midpoint, though such jumpy labors as Cord and Dancing at the Blue Iguana,
showed the actress had a plucky side that had been left virtually unknown since her days in The Fury and Blade Runner.
