Carmen Electra became celebrity at very early age. And got her first break when a scout for 'Prince' spotted her fronting for a rap group in Los Angeles.
Her first appearance album for Prince's Paisley Park label in 1992, and produced a top 20 hit on dance charts with "Get on Up." Carmen is currently in production on her second season of "Livin' Large", the
one hour weekly series from The Heritage Networks.
In the year of 1987, when she was 15 years old, Carmen moved to Minneapolis, she did some modeling for Target department stores. She was also known to be in Minneapolis during the 1990 filming of Prince's movie, Graffiti Bridge. In 1991, Tara moved to Los Angeles, California, changed her name to Carmen Electra, and in less than a week, met Prince.
Carmen also lends her voice to the Revolution Studios film "Lil' Pimp" and joins Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson in the much-anticipated comedy "Starsky & Hutch." She just wrapped the independent "Searching for Bobby De Niro" and is currently shooting "Monster Island", a MOW for MTV. She also appeared in the Warner Bros. Television movie "Sol Goode" and the indie film "Perfume", which made its debut at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival.
Carmen was a sequence regular on "Hyperion Bay" as well as "Baywatch." She has guest starred on a
diversity of prime-time comedies including "Mad TV", "All That", "Just Shoot
Me", and most recently the UPN comedy "Eve." Carmen was seen for two seasons as the ringside commentator on the hit Comedy Central show, "BattleBots." |
