| Aunjanue Ellis made her Broadway carrier in George C. Wolfe's "The Tempest" which began as a Shakespeare in the Park production.
She studied acting in the graduate drama program at NYU after receiving her B.A. in African-American studies from Brown University.
Aunjanue seen in the film "Caveman's Valentine" with Samuel L. Jackson. Her other motion picture credits include "Girlstown," "In Too Deep," "Desert Blue" and "Map of the
World."
Ellis got a role in television on "The Practice," and she starred on "Third Watch" and "New York Undercover."
