| Debutant director Sanjay Bhatia intends to make a record of sorts. His venture 99.9FM has several firsts. It is the first of its kind to have no producer. Explains the director, "The producers and financers
dictates on the director and hampering his
creativity interfering in work . We did not want that to happen to us. Thus we decide to fund the film from our own resources. And we call it independent filmmaking. So you can say that 99.9FM is a first producer-less film." 99.9FM also happens to be the first film about radio jockeys though Bhatia insist that it is about relationships. That's not all, it also is the first film to be processed at one of Kodak's certified labs in Singapore. 99.9FM stars model turned actor Shahwar Ali along with Dipannita Sharma and Raima Sen. |
