Introduction :
Thomas Jefferson one of the pioneering
figures in American history, authored the Declaration of Independence
and the Statute of Virginia for Religious Freedom, served as the third
President of the United States and founded the University of Virginia.
He was born on 13th April 1743, at Shadwell, Virginia and died on 4th
July 1826, at Monticello His father Peter Jefferson was a successful
planter and surveyor and his mother Jane Randolph a member of one of
Virginia's most distinguished families. Thomas Jefferson was nominated
to the House of Burgesses when he was 25 years old. As a member of the
Continental Congress in the year of 1776, Jefferson was chosen together
with John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Robert Livingstone and Roger Sherman
to draft the Declaration of Independence. He wrote the declaration
himself and was amended by Adams and Franklin. However we celebrate
Thomas Jefferson birth day every year on 13th March, so it is a grate
