Introduction :
Sewing Machine Day, celebrates the
anniversary of the patent on the sewing machine on September 10, 1846.
The first sewing machine, produced in 1830 in Lyon, France, could sew
200 stitches a minute. That machine only created a single thread stitch,
but was still very impressive. The double-thread lock stitch was
invented in Boston by both Isaac Singer and Elias Howe in the late
1840s. However recall good memories and celebrate this event with your
near and dear ones also send them some funny message on this beautiful
day.
