Introduction :
4th September, is the anniversary of the
Newspaper Carrier Day being hired - 10 year old Barney Flaherty in 1833.
There was only one job requirement. He had to prove he could throw a
newspaper into the bushes. Newspaper carriers everywhere have been
following his example ever since. However each year on this day we set
aside to recognize the accomplishments of carriers who work hard to get
the newspaper in the hands of it readers. For this reason send a
thankful note to people who associated with this services.
