The Independence Day of Guatemala is celebrated on 15th September.In the year 1821 citizens of the United Kingdom of Guatemala announced their sovereignty.In this special day the children,other people sell various flags in the streets of Guatemala.The schools are also decorated properly to celebrate the day.It is a official public holiday.
