Introduction :
D-Day was the
crucial battle between Europe and Nazism. The end of the war seemed a distant
hope. The skill and courage of British and Allied Forces had established an
expensive foothold back in France. It was the largest air, land, and sea invasion ever undertaken and was successful because of the bravery and
heroism of the men who were sent out.
