Circus is not only a fun it is also a recreation, and base of art of life.
They work to build character and make bigger community for youth of all
ages. Through teaching and performance of circus skills, they give people lots
of enjoyment.
Now a days Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) asked a circus group, when
they performing in the city, to stop its animal performance with immediate
effect as it does not possess any license
for animal performances.
The Indian capital welcomed the return of the circus with open arms, so that the
organizers at a mid-sized sports stadium had to proclaim
an encore for about five thousand people waiting external.
Most of the pioneers of the circus were Maharashtrians. Keelari Kunhikannan of Tellicherry in Kerala
is recognized to continue the tradition.
The circus school started by him at Tellicherry.
Today, Indian circus art is restricted
predominately to Kerala and the state may be considered the home of the circus in India.
