Introduction :
Cinco de Mayo is a date of great
importance for the Mexican and Chicano communities. It marks the victory
of the Mexican Army over the French at the Battle of Puebla in the year
of 1862. For this reason 5th May is a primarily a regional holiday
celebrated in the Mexican state capital city of Puebla and throughout
the state of Puebla, but is also celebrated in other parts of the
country and in U.S. cities with a significant Mexican population.
However it's a day for parades, mariachi music and fun so reach out this
day with your friends, family and loved ones also make them happy on
this beautiful day.
