Introduction :
Every year we celebrate Beltane on 1st May, it is the last of the three spring fertility festivals, the others being Imbolc and Ostara. Beltane meaning bright fire or lucky fire, it is celebrated with feasts and rituals. In old Celtic traditions it was a time of unabashed sexuality and promiscuity where marriages of a year and a day could be undertaken but it is rarely observed in that manner in modern times. However on May eve, bless your garden in the old way by making love with your lover in it. Make a wish as you jump a bonfire or candle flame for good luck and make the day more memorable.
