Hair is an integral part of a
beautiful figure. Many a times only hair may be instrumental
for 'love at first sight'. Careful hair and carefully
careless hair may attract attention of opposite sex. So,
like any other parts of the human body, hair cannot be
neglected.
We would discuss hair care in two sections.
1. Hair health tips
2. Hair problems & solutions
Hair health tips:
Use of Henna (Mehendi): It is an excellent natural
conditioner of hair. Adding some water prepare a paste of
henna. Leave the paste for at least four hours. Then apply
on the hair, especially at the end of the hair. Leave it for
at least two hours on the hair. Wash off with cool water.
Henna is used as natural color also. Black henna gives good
color to black hair. Henna is used for bright and decent
brown color also.
Use of Lemon: The lemon can be used in two ways. Either you
can add some drops of lemon with your shampoo. After taking
bath you may apply some drops of lemon drops on your hair.
Some expert suggests applying lemon drops whenever you are
out in the sun.
Use of Egg & Rum: Mix two eggs with 25 gms (1 ounce) of
rum. Apply to the scalp. Wash off with warm water.
Use of Beer: Put beer in the spray bottle. Spray into the
hair. It gives excellent health to the hair.
Use of Red wine: Mix red wine, an egg and one spoonful of
sodium bicarbonate. Apply in the scalp. Leave it for half an
hour. Wash off with shampoo. Apply vinegar on the scalp.
Hair would be healthy soft, shining and healthy.
Hair Problem and its solution:
There are three common hair problems:
Dandruff
Falling Hair
Split -ends or Broken hair
Dandruff:
It is die scalp cells coming off in flakes.
Causes of dandruff.:
1. Heredity
2. Environment
3. Diet
4. Dry or Greasy Scalp
Remedies for dandruff:
Mild dandruff could be cured from the following suggestion.
Severe dandruff causes even hair loss. In that case medical
practitioner should be consulted.
Clean hair properly with brush and comb. Do not use other's
brush or comb. Dandruff is infectious.
Brush hair before shampooing.
At least once a week Massage your scalp with one raw egg.
Use medicated shampoo.
Mix one ounce of spirits with Yolk of egg, a pinch of Borax
and a cup of warm water. Before shampooing use this solution
to massage your scalp.
Mix two-ounce sesqui carbonate of ammonia, 3 pints of rose
water and one pint of spirits of rosemary. After applying
deep into the scalp brush your hair.
Hair Falling:
Normally around seventy hairs fall per day. But if the
number is much more than even eighty then go to physician.
Hair falling may increase due to ill health and inadequate
nutrition. Nutrition is of two types here: nutrition of
general health and nutrition of hair.
The hair falling may be having two types of remedies. 1.
Providing general nutrition 2. Providing neutrino to hair.
Providing general nutrition: The inadequate nutrition of a
person may be due to two reasons: a) improper digestion and
b) lack of balanced diet. Indigestion may be due to various
causes. I must leave that for Physicians. To know about
balanced diet and all you may click at Health
Care. In spite of balanced diet, proteins and
vitamin B are considered good for hair. Poultry, meat, egg,
fish, beans and nuts are full of proteins. These foods have
Vitamin B6 also. Yeast, Bananas and green vegetables also
have Vitamin B6. Beside this, Vitamin B complex is also may
be supplemented to reduce the deficiency of B6. Apart from
this item iron, calcium and iodine helps to improve hair.
Iodine improves the blood circulation in the scalp. Banana
is a good source of iron. Orange and lemon are good source
of Calcium. Seafood are good source of iodine.
Providing nutrition for hair:
Massage lemon Juice on the scalp for 10 minutes for a week.
Put 200 Gms. of 'reetha' (soap nuts) in five glasses of
water. Leave it for 7- 8 hours. Boil the mixture for 15
minutes. Keep the soap nuts aside. Strain the water and
apply on the hair.
Apply Castrol oil and Iodine alternatively for four days.
Along with that take steam on your scalp by wrapping a
towels on your head. After this is done, shampoo.
Split ends or broken hair:
To avoid split ends following are suggested:
Do not back comb
Do not comb in the wet hair
Do not use rubber band
Do not expose your hair to extreme temperature
Manage to trim off your split ends
Do not put any sort of strain on the hair.
