Foot and toe are often neglected by many of us. We do not care those properly. But we should take care of foot and toe for two reasons:

For the beautification and for good health of foot and toe. If a person is careful about his or her feet he is certainly going to be caring person all about.

We would discuss this topic in two sections.

Foot Problems and Remedies:

Corns: 
Excessive foot perspiration: Some feet perspire more specially when it is covered. Apply powdered alum at the time of putting shoes.

Cramps: 
Frequent cramps in the leg cause problem. Mostly the cramps are from calcium deficiency. So, take calcium in the form of food (like orange, lemon, apple etc) and Vitamin C tablets regularly. Cold feet

Rough spots: 
These are created in the uncared feet. Rub pumice stone after bath regularly and apply cream. 

Cold feet: 
Massage olive oil before going to sleep. And put on socks after massaging.

'Tired look' feet: 
It is a common problem. A relaxed and lively foot is always a point of attraction. Following are the remedies:

Apply some body oil or lotion before your bath regularly. Apply talcum powder on the dry feet after the bath.
Put your feet in moderately cold salt water. But make sure you do not have any cut in your foot.
If you have any muscle pain or itching keep your leg above your head line.
Pedicure would keep your feet fresh and good looking

Pedicure:

We would discuss how to pedicure at home. You require the following things for pedicure.

1. Pumice stone
2. Moisturizing lotion
3. Nail clippers
4. Emery board
5. Cuticle remover
6. Nail polish remover
7. Nail polish
8. Talcum powder
9. Basin for soaking feet


Procedure for Pedicure:
You should follow the steps below for pedicure at home:

Step 1: Put your feet in warm soapy water. Wash your feet with the soap water.

Step 2: Dry your feet well with a towel.

Step 3: Rub pumice stone gently on your feet specially heels.

Step 4: Remove dirt under your toenails.

Step 5: Wash your feet with the soap water after keeping into it for sometimes.

Step 6: Apply body lotion or moisturizer after drying up the feet. 

Step 7: File your nails.

Step 8: Remove old nail polish with the help of nail polish remover.

Step 9: Use cuticle remover to shape your cuticle.

Step 10: Apply nail polish. Brush always away from your body. There may be three coats. Each coat should be applied after the nail is dry. 

Step 11: Use body lotion on your feet after the nail polish is over.

Step 12: Apply body lotion daily. Use talcum powder also regularly.
