Ingredients:
1 pound crab meat -- backfin or
lump blue 2 eggs
2/3 cup mayonnaise 1 tablespoon prepared mustard2 teaspoons
salt
2 teaspoons pepper Old Bay Seasoning (add to your taste like
about 3 tbsp)
Direction:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees,
lightly grease a glass pie plate or 8x8 pan Put crab meat in a
large bowl and check carefully for cartilage. Be careful not
to break up the lumps. Set aside In another bowl, mix
mayonnaise, melted butter, eggs, salt, pepper and Old Bay.
Stir this together until will blended. Pour the mayonnaise
mixture over top of the crab meat. With a rubber spatula
carefully fold this into the crab meat, till well distributed.
Again, being careful not to break up the lumps. When you have
well mixed the crab and mayonnaise mixture, transfer to a
lightly greased glass pie plate or 8x8 glass baking dish. Bake
until golden and bubbly. This is wonderful as an appetizer or
a main dish. If main dish,
serve with a nice side salad. Enjoy!
